“I recently attended the Introduction to Meditation session with Rachel Powell. During the hour long session Rachel guided the group through some of the basic techniques of meditation and mindfulness. The meditation room was calm and welcoming and Rachel had created a space of psychological safety.
Rachel described elements of her own journey during the session and in doing so delivers an authentic personal perspective on mental health and wellbeing.
I found the techniques useful particularly the idea of holding a stone in my hands to ground my thoughts when my mind started to wander.
